Can I have a copy of your notes?

He put me on a project at work wherein I have to try to draw and write numerous different styles and types of notes/note taking. Its for a commercial we are doing for a University, so I have been surfing DA for a sample of people's writing and note taking style. Any help is glorious

So it turns out one of my non-paid internships will be becoming a PAID JOB NOW! Of $15 an hour. Hot dam i dare say HOT DAM

Ok this story is long and not really with any point but I was very very impressed by it so stick with me here.

Tony did something that very very very much impressed me! I understand that at times I will ask a question or such while not giving the context for such a question. We all know I do it. Well on Saturday afternoon I showed him a manga (It was the first one for Gurren Lagann) with this girl (Yoko Littner) who had a big sniper rifle. He likes those types of guns for their aesthetic-ness as odd as that seems.

I showed him since i thought he would like said gun and I asked "what type of gun is that anyway?"

He said "o It looks a lot like a Barrett M82, thats the gun I like! Its probably based on it"

So anyway, that occurred on Saturday afternoon for less than 5 minutes of me just showing him and him saying what type of gun that was. Then, on Tuesday morning I was just lying on le bed and asked him out of the blue "hey what type of gun did she have again?" and he took a moment.

In that moment I realized he probably didn't know what I was talking about since I had given no context for the question and thusly was already preparing an answer for when he would ask "what girl? what are you talking about?" as most people would. Then, before I could say the context of the question he answered "o yeah. it was a Barrett M82. or at least looked like one".

Now I don't know about you, but I was damn well impressed by that. I just sat there staring at him with my mouth open and everything. I even told him "... I was already preparing to explain what I was talking about since you paused but you already knew." I then thought on it a bit more and realized how very little context I had given ... aka none. All I had said was "what type of gun did she have?" so I asked him "How did you know what she I was talking about?"

Tony replied with "I dunno. I just knew" and again. I know it is a very silly and not very important story but this sort of stuff is what impresses, amazes me and makes me truly happy. He always does these little things that make me happy but in all honesty its these little things that mean the most. He is good people and panders to my sillies. He makes me laugh and introduces me to new things all the time. If I don't know or understand something that he takes as a given, he will explain it to me instead of ridiculing me for not knowing. That part sounds very silly I know but there are people out there who will act condescending instead of explaining. Point is, I am one happy lady <3

So this summer be busy for a skwurl but hey, its still doable! I am learning a lot this summer all around! I am learning a lot from work and from my friends. Work is teaching me about the world I want to work in! I am learning how to better balance my time between those I love :3
